I can’t help but speculate, I’m a Nintendo apologist and I can’t hide it. The directs are always exciting, even if they don’t announce or show anything I want to buy or play. The way everything is presented is exciting, and the possibility of news about this or that always makes me put the event on my calendar. This is the first Nintendo Direct of 2022, so what’s going to be announced?
Let me start off by saying I have no sources, and no way to back up what I’m talking about at all. Just hopes and dreams. So here’s a list of games I think we will get some news about.
Nintendo SHOULD Announce/Show…
- Metroid Prime 4
- A revival of the Mario & Sonic at the Olympics?
- Metroid Dread DLC
- The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2
- Metroid Prime Trilogy HD Collection
- Something Persona/SMT related
- Triangle Strategy
- Kirby and the Forgotten Land
- Splatoon 3
Nintendo MIGHT Announce/Show…
- A new Mario game
- A new Mario Kart game
- A new Donkey Kong Country
- Metroid Prime Remastered
- A Super Metroid Remake
- A Metal Gear HD Collection or Port
- Pokémon Legends: Arceus DLC
- Sonic Frontiers
Nintendo WON’T Announce/Show, but I would love it if they did…
- A new Metal Combat/Battleclash game (PLEASE? PRETTY PLEASE?)
- Mother 3 Western Release
- Metroid Fusion on NSO
- Game Boy/Game Boy Advance games on NSO
- Mario Paint on NSO
- Goldeneye on NSO
- Joycon drift fix
- Paper Mario and the Thousand Year Door on NSO
- Gamecube Games on NSO
- New Starfox Game
- The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons and Ages HD (In the style of Link’s Awakening HD)
Yeah, It’s too late at night to add any more thoughts. We’ll have to see tomorrow what actually happens. Comment your predictions.
