In the latest installment of NATE READS THE CLASSICS: Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea by Jules Verne, I read the chapters surrounding the narrator’s first foray into the submarine wilds with Captain Nemo and the others. This video features some updates to my streaming setup, which will hopefully make it more attractive and enjoyable. Watch the video below…
NATE READS THE CLASSICS: Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea Part 4
Go ahead and skip to about 4:20 in the video to get right to the start of the stream. The new backgrounds are an exercise in branding that I hope eventually have long-term benefits. This isn’t an incredibly long stream. That, or I have just grown to not regard an hour of streaming as that strenuous anymore.
The strength of Verne’s imagery really strikes me here, I have to admit. I didn’t plan on reading these exact chapters in this stream, they just happened to encapsulate one major event of the story all at once. Happy accident! I continue to be amazed at what the narrator thought was impossible with electricity and that we can hardly imagine living without today.
When’s the Next Part?
Part 5 of the livestream should be coming soon! I still haven’t arranged to make a regular schedule of livestreaming, and I know I should, but I plan to make some changes to my streaming location to make that possible.
